How much does university in China cost without a scholarship?
CNY 20,000–35,000 a year for a bachelor's and CNY 25,000–45,000 for a master's at public universities, with living costs of roughly CNY 2,000–3,000 a month in smaller cities and CNY 3,500–5,500 in Beijing or Shanghai.
What does the CSC scholarship cover?
Type A covers tuition in full, university accommodation, health insurance and a monthly stipend of CNY 2,500 for bachelor's, CNY 3,000 for master's and CNY 3,500 for PhD. Partial awards also exist.
Can I study in China in English?
Yes, and widely — particularly in engineering and medicine. Chinese-taught programmes generally require HSK level 4 or 5.
